Why did you start working in the veterinary field?
I got tired of working as a commercial model and wanted to do something both rewarding and challenging. I was in my late 20s and asked myself what would really make me happy as a career choice, and veterinary medicine was the obvious decision for me. Since that moment, I have never looked back and never regretted it once.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Working with more pets and their owners, improving the quality of medicine in Sonoma, and enhancing the human animal bond. I also want to do some traveling in my spare time, and hope to have a partner at my practice.
What is your favorite thing to do at the hospital?
I love meeting new clients and learning about the special relationship they have with their pets. I also enjoy educating and supporting them through medical procedures, difficult experiences and giving them 5 star service. Nothing makes me happier than having people tell me they have never had a Veterinarian care as much as I do. In terms of actual tasks, I love surgery, but my favorite thing of all is kissing pets on their wet juicy noses.
