Age: 9
Hometown: Johannesburg, South Africa
Experience: For 6 years, I've been upwardly mobile receiving numerous pay increases and bonuses in hypoallergenic cookies. I got my paw in the door using my good looks, quick wit and affable personality.
Degree(s): Life experience qualified me for my job.

Who is in your family?

My adoring family above the practice consists of Dr. Forsythe, Sigrid and Magnus. As well as the felines Maude and Bon Bon. My beloved family downstairs are my girls Kathryn, Jenni, Carrie and Kelly. And also my favorite reptile, Lenny the ball python.

Why did you start working in the veterinary field?

Back when I was a young pup in Johannesburg, I had a very successful career as a runway model. When I realized my time as a model was up, I ventured to the states and found myself in Sonoma. Once here, I tried my paw at winemaking. When that didn't go as planned, I decided to work in a field that was more appropriate for me...the veterinary field. Now I am the official greeter and overnight nurse at Altimira Veterinary Hospital. I love all my patients and enjoy meeting new ones. This career is truly what I was meant to do.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I hope to be retired and lounging on a beach in Florida while catching up on my reading of the classics (i.e Old Yeller, Stephen King's Cujo, The Many Adventures of Clifford the Big Red Dog and lastly, my favorite Lassie).

What is your favorite thing to do at the hospital?

When I first started working here at the hospital, one of my favorite things to do was "crop dust". But Dr. Forsythe soon grew tired of my special "skill" and put the kibosh on it by starting me on a hypoallergenic diet. The "crop dusting" stopped almost immediately and the staff was able to breathe a big sigh of relief.

Another favorite thing of mine is when I get pampered by the staff. At least twice a month I enjoy a spa day here at the hospital. I get a mani/pedi, a full scrub down and wonderful oatmeal conditioner finish. Once I am sparkeling clean, I choose from a myriad of collars on my collar tree and don which ever collar best fits my mood that day. It's a tough life I lead, but someones got to do it.
